10am on Saturday July 8, 2006, The
PILATES Room, in association with
Island
Health & Fitness Aquatics,
will unveil our exclusive "AQUALATES" program.
Whether you are new to Pilates,
or a seasoned practitioner, you will
find AQUALATES challenging yet highly
modifiable. All exercises are based
upon STOTT PILATES, and include exercises
from the mat, reformer, cadillac,
chair and barrel repertoires.
In addition to an emphasis on shoulder
girdle stabilization and activation
of the core muscularture to support
a neutral spine, this 3-D workout
will challenge balance, coordination
and peripheral strength in all planes
of motion.
